All Events Are Free So We Need Your Support!

 

This year’s Book Festival, a follow up to last year’s successful Poetry Festival, is being organized by volunteers. The nationally recognized authors are volunteering their time and talent as well. The venues for the events also have been made available at modest or no cost.

 

We believe anyone and everyone who loves books and reading, young and old, native or immigrant, should be able to come to these events without fear of the burden of admission fees.

 

BUT, there are very real and significant costs to launching this festival: they include graphic design services, festival publicity, banners and advertising, modest rentals for some venues, fees for some entertainers…

 

ReadOn, WriteOn, VashOn has the great good fortune and honor to have Vashon Allied Arts as our partner and fiscal agent. What does this mean for you? It means that your contribution, as a corporate sponsor or private donor, IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE
